From September 26 to 30, it was that time again: The F.EE group of companies in Neunburg vorm Wald again organized its annual "Action Days Training". About 300 students of the 8th and 9th grades of the secondary schools Neunburg, Oberviechtach and Waldmünchen as well as of the secondary schools Neunburg, Waldmünchen and Nabburg visited - spread over a whole week - the company to inform themselves about the various job profiles.
On the F.EE company premises, the "Info Truck" of the Association of Bavarian Metal and Electrical Employers was waiting for them - a walk-in truck equipped with state-of-the-art technology. On two levels, the young people were able to experience the wide range of professions in the electronics and metalworking industry up close and also try it out for themselves at several different stations - for example, operating a CNC machine to mill a workpiece or human-robot interaction when programming a cobot. The field of electrical engineering was not neglected either: the correct placement of various electronic circuits led to the lighting of a lamp.
In parallel, F.EE granted each school class a look behind the scenes of an automation specialist. Thus, during company tours, they were able to visit the mechanical engineering halls in which the various components for automation technology and robotics are manufactured - a good addition to their impression of the technology world.
The intention of the repeated "Training Action Days" is to support young people at an early stage in their decision-making with regard to their future careers.
The search for young people for the start of training in 2023 has already begun. All information on training and careers at F.EE can be found at www.fee.de.
