The F.EE company group from Neunburg vorm Wald traditionally every Christmas donates to regional and national non-profit organisations instead of providing their customers with gifts – this year a total of 15,000 euros.
The Technische Hilfswerk with the local group Neunburg vorm Wald is happy about the biggest part of this donation. What many may not know: The THW's budget is only provided to a certain extent by the THW Federal Agency, which is responsible for all technical relief organisations in Germany, and the rest, e.g. the procurement and maintenance of around half of the emergency vehicles and equipment, is provided by a support association in Neunburg v. W. that depends on donations.
The F.EE donation is used by THW for several important purposes: The existing telescopic loader of the local group was able to undergo the expensive 10-year maintenance including the renewal of the hydraulic hoses. In addition, a so-called concrete crusher, a device for recovery from difficult situations, and a CombiCarrier, a special stretcher for injured persons, could be purchased. At the symbolic presentation of the cheque by Gerlinde Fleischmann from the F.EE management, the representatives of the local association, headed by Stefan Meier, expressed their sincere thanks for the commitment of the company group to the helpers of their home town.
Further parts of the F.EE Christmas donation this year went to the voluntary fire brigade Nabburg, the Ortenburg Gymnasium Oberviechtach, the animal shelter Schwandorf as well as to the SpVgg Mitterdorf and the SV Altendorf.
