From 8 to 12 October, pupils in grades 8 and 9 had the opportunity for the fourth year in a row to find out about training opportunities at the F.EE Group during the "Training Days". In addition to a company presentation, more than 300 pupils from the secondary schools of Neunburg, Bruck and Oberviechtach, the Ortenburg Gymnasium Oberviechtach, the Neunburger Realschule and the Girl´s Day Academy received interesting guided tours of the control cabinet production centre and the mechanical engineering production halls of the automation technology specialist. They were also informed about the wide range of training opportunities in the industry in the information truck of the Bavarian Employers' Association of the Metal and Electrical Industries.

At the press event on October 10, company founder Hans Fleischmann welcomed press representatives, Hermann Brandl from the Bavarian Metal and Electrical Industry Association (bayme vbm) as well as Christian Meyer, economic consultant of the Schwandorf district. Around 50 guests took advantage of the following open afternoon to take a look behind the scenes of F.EE.

In recent years, the company F.EE has grown strongly and some of the jobs have become very technological, according to Hermann Brandl. "This is why we are dependent on skilled workers. The Upper Palatinate is gradually running out of these", the association representative regretted. To find good skilled workers the association wants to actively support the companies. The information truck is a valuable instrument for this. "Please not without training," Brandl stressed in conclusion. Christian Meyer praised: "The Schwandorf district does not have to hide from other districts." On the basis the Training Days training it succeeded surely again to increase the awareness level and to point the training chances out. Meyer was sure that this would make a lasting contribution to helping young people stay in the region thanks to interesting jobs
