Presentation of the certificates by F.EE electronics training manager Thomas Schmid.

Increasing digitization requires the acquisition of new skills in many different professional fields - including the IT world. Programming courses offer the ideal opportunity to be introduced to the field of computer science.
This experience was also made by 20 students of the 8th grade of the Ortenburg-Gymnasium Oberviechtach, who registered for the workshop "Basics of Programming with C#". This ran over a period from March to May 2022 - consisting of six units. The course was led by Jürgen Prasch, department manager in the area of software development at the F.EE group of companies in Neunburg vorm Wald, as well as Daniel Hartl, F.EE student of the dual combined study program in computer science, who gave the participants an on-site insight into the working world of a developer.
The students learned the basics of programming by means of illustrative tasks. Using the common programming language "C#", they equipped Lego robots with a controller, for example, so that they could be steered using buttons.
After completion of the workshop, Thomas Schmid, electronics training manager at F.EE, presented the certificates to all course participants on Friday, July 29, 2022.
On behalf of the high school, the school administration expressed its sincere thanks to Prasch for the appealing course implementation and the associated enrichment of the lessons.
