In recent weeks, BMW Welt in Munich was host to the Bayern Digital Kongress 2017 - an event of the Bavarian economics ministry at the invitation of state minister and deputy prime minister Ilse Aigner. The congress is part of the digital offensive “BAYERN DIGITAL” and brought together decision-makers from politics, business and academia to discuss the digital future of Bavaria. ”I consider us to be highly competent in process management, in mechanical engineering, in the mobility sector, in the energy sector and also in the health industry. That is very much due to extensive know-how regarding the classic hardware, and making this smart is the next step now”, explained the minister.
Ranking together with Audi, BMW, Osram and Krones
Alongside a podium discussion, the focus of the event was on the high-profile presentation of the “Bavarian map of the Digital Champions” by the minister. This map shows where companies across Bavaria have implemented digitalisation in an exemplary and outstanding way. An accolade for the F.EE company group from Neunburg, because: The specialist in industrial automation is marked on this map alongside just a few companies in Eastern Bavaria, and therefore ranks among companies such as Audi, BMW, Osram and Krones in the “Industry 4.0” division.
A stunning success
Staff at F.EE are delighted: “It is a stunning success to belong to this group of Digital Champions. At F.EE, the digitalisation process - with which we are also supporting our customers - and the keyword Industry 4.0 itself have been established practice for many years now”, explains company founder Hans Fleischmann.
