On 19 February 2025, the F.EE management welcomed Schwandorf District Administrator Thomas Ebeling to the company headquarters in Neunburg for the ceremonial presentation of the certificates for the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact. After a brief presentation of the F.EE business units, Mr Ebeling was impressed by the wide range of services and the high-tech products and solutions offered by the automation specialist, which is one of the largest employers in the district of Schwandorf. The subsequent discussion also focussed on the topics of electromobility and the added value of rural universities for recruiting employees.

Sustainability and environmental protection have always played a major role at F.EE in all areas. For example, the company uses 100 per cent green electricity and intelligently controllable lighting concepts including LED technology, has introduced an efficient fleet management system using software developed in-house to avoid unnecessary journeys and takes care to offset CO2 emissions when purchasing advertising materials. ‘We have also established high standards for avoiding food waste and responsible procurement in our company restaurant. For example, the pots and pans are only filled with meat from organic or organic farming,’ says Managing Director Gerlinde Fleischmann.

‘When even organic meat is offered in the company restaurant, it quickly becomes clear that sustainability is a high priority and is practised,’ said District Administrator Ebeling. Company founder Hans Fleischmann concluded by explaining the reasons for this further environmental certification: ‘Participation in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact gives us the opportunity to further improve the F.EE environmental balance sheet and utilise resources even more efficiently. We are proud to now be part of this important initiative and thus make a further contribution to protecting our environment.’
